Current local/LAN Brave plugin lane status after the 2026-05-19 optional-origin fallback package-copy pass.

LAN package updated; true Brave GUI activeTab grant still unproven

Verified

  • Latest LAN package was rebuilt through the existing local package script and passed LAN readiness.
  • Source and extension/dist now match for the optional-origin fallback files.
  • Packaged manifest keeps activeTab, scripting, storage, sidePanel, and contextMenus.
  • LAN package host permission is bridge-only, and optional host permissions remain reviewed user-granted HTTP/HTTPS origins.
  • ActiveTab source harness and optional-origin fallback test both pass.

Remaining blocker

The package now carries the optional-origin onboarding fallback, but the lane still needs a real Brave GUI proof on a safe page or a mandatory blocker artifact from that attempt.
